Paul Ferguson established the workshop in 1978 after five years studying design at art school followed by a further five years training as a wood carver in the West End of London.

Paul employs a small group of highly skilled craftsmen offering a complete service in the fields of wood carving and gilding.
Together with designing and making new commissions to client's specification the team restore/conserve fine gilded furniture and frames, architectural details and other specialist items.
Conservation reports can be prepared including analysis, proposed treatments and method statements followed by final reports including photographs of the work in progress.

Clients include public and private institutions, Royal Palaces, interior decorators, the antiques trade, architects, main contractors and private collectors.

The workshop maintains a reputation for the highest quality work using the craft method passed down through the generations and is proud to be part of the fine English wood carving tradition.
