Work carried out for antique dealers, restorers, conservation firms, joinery firms,
architects, builders and private individuals.
Being involved in restoration such as Windsor Castle and Hampton Court as well as working on masterpieces which pass through the antique trade, my work has to seamlessly match that of master carvers of the past.
Whether ancient or modern, the finished articles all become part of the grand tradition of English wood carving.
It's not just about conserving objects but about conserving the skills needed to create different styles of ornament. I was trained by an older generation of carvers who gave me those skills to work with.
