Based in the National Trust village of Coleshill, Oxfordshire, Tom is an award-winning woodcarver with over two decades of experience in traditional carving. With a background in technical illustration and carpentry, he went on to study ornamental woodcarving at the City & Guilds of London Art School, where he refined his skills in both drawing and carving.

Specializing in heritage restoration, Tom has contributed to the conservation of some of Oxford’s and London’s most renowned buildings. His work spans lettering, large-scale restoration, and bespoke commissions, each approached with care, precision, and a deep respect for historical integrity.

In addition to his carving and restoration work, Tom is the Lead Tutor on the woodcarving course at City & Guilds of London Art School and also runs carving courses for the National Trust, helping to pass on these time-honoured skills to the next generation.
